BIOGRAPHY

Steven M. Tepp

Mr. Steven Tepp is the Policy Planning Advisor in the Office of Policy and International Affairs at the U.S. Copyright Office. He works closely with Congress on many domestic copyright legislative issues and has principle responsibility for all international copyright matters in the Asia/Pacific region.

Previous to this position, Mr. Tepp served the Copyright Office as a Senior Attorney in the General Counsel's Office. During that time he worked on virtually every copyright-related legislative matter before Congress, and participated in the drafting of amicus briefs for several Federal court copyright cases.

Prior to joining the Copyright Office, Mr. Tepp was Staff Attorney to the Chairman of the United States Senate Judiciary Committee, where he specialized in intellectual property.

Mr. Tepp is a graduate of American University's Washington College of Law and received his undergraduate degree from Colgate University.
