Geo-information (Lake Data) Services Based on the Ontology Concept

Abstract: Recently in geo-information science ontology research has attracted much attention. The concept of ontology is very important in the spatial information conception model and the share, classification of geography classes, more importantly, it enriches the semantic theory of spatial information. Geo-information service and Geo-information interpretation and extraction are the two main applying aspects of the Geo-ontology. The geography ontology has much potential of application in geo-information service. In this paper, the ontology use in geo-information services is discussed. Then the lake data services based on ontology is put forward.
